Gardening Exchange

Hello all

I am starting to grow sweet peas. My normal method for seeds, is to grow in a low nutrient compost. I use coir and bark. Once germinated i then transplant into a JI no1 etc. The reason is theat seeds have enough nutroent to germinate themselves.. With sweet peas i believe you leave them in until much longer and I would have thought that a better, more nutrient mix , would be required. Would say a sieved garden compost coir mix 50/50 with some pearlite for drainage do? Help and advice please
