School garden advice and support!

Hello everyone! I am a teacher at Kings Norton Boys School and I am about to embark on a grand gardening project that will hopefully help many of our disaffected students. We plan to build a school garden which will incorporate a wild garden, frog pond, some raised beds for salad crops and a herb garden. I hope that members of this group will be able to support me in my quest to make my school a green living space. Over the next few weeks, I will be asking people to donate a plant or two, maybe a plank of wood or four, some topsoil or compost or whatever we deem necessary at the time. I look forward to working closely with you all and hopefully of being part of our dream of a wild living space in our school.

What a brilliant idea!

I am sure everyone here will do all they can to support your project. Maybe it would be an idea to create a "photo diary" on here so we can see the project blossoming (feeble pun) over time/
