Ask the Prime Minister to Ban Metaldehyde as a slug killer
An E-petition has been launched to ban slug pellets containing Metaldehyde.

As the author of the petition says "it's about time that chemicals like this were banned as there are now plenty of alternatives on the market that do work!
What's the point of attracting Hedgehogs and birds into your garden if you're going to use metaldehyde containing slug pellets (which lets face it can kill a human being let alone a bird or hedgehog!)."
